Protect Yourself from Germs at the Gym

At my gym the other day, I was using an elliptical trainer near the door and I was impressed with how many gym members took a pump of hand sanitizer and rubbed it on their hands on their way out. I'm grateful that my gym keeps hand sanitizer, as well as paper towels, a cleaner spray bottle, and sanitizing wipes,  in various spots throughout the gym. It's one small thing I can do to try to stay healthy this winter.

Cold and flu season is here and, with all the people, sweat, and warmth, gyms can be the ideal breeding ground for bacteria and viruses. Here are the best ways to protect yourself and avoid getting sick from nasty germs at the gym.
