Money Saving Tip: Avoid Running Injuries!

I'm always amazed when I hear running friends' stories about how much money they spend on injury rehab. Between co-payments for doctors' visits physical therapy, sports massages, and acupuncture, the recovery from a running injury can definitely do some damage to your bank account. And going to all the injury treatment appointments often requires people to take time off from work, which means lost wages. Once they've suffered through a long running injury recovery period, many runners say they can't afford to get injured again!

To avoid the hassle and expense of injury recovery, listen to your body, make sure you're wearing the right running shoes, follow injury prevention tips, and invest in a cheap injury-prevention tool, such as a foam roller.
