    Run Your First 10K

The 10K (6.2 miles) distance is very popular with beginner runners, especially those who have done a 5K race, but don't feel they're quite ready to take on the half-marathon. This eight-week training program is designed to help you run to the finish line. So every week, you'll get new instructions and motivation right in your Inbox. By the end of eight weeks, you'll be ready to run a 10K. Even if you don't want to run a 10K race, this program will get you ready to run the 10K distance by the end of the email course.

This program assumes that you can already run at least two miles. If you're not quite ready for it, you might want to try the Run Your First 5K or the 3 Weeks to a 30-Minute Running Habit email course.

If you're not interested in this 10K training plan, check out these other free 10K training plans for all different levels of runners.
