Guide Review - Ipod Mini MP3 Player
Sleek and pretty, the Ipod Mini is a beautiful product. Its features are practically endless, especially if you consider buying a few accessories. The Ipod Mini is compatible with both Macs and Windows 2000/XP. It's fairly easy to control (except when running), multiple playlist capability, can be a portable hard drive, has games, and organizational tools. It really is a great gadget, if that's what you are looking for.
It has 25 minutes of skipless play, but since it is a hard drive-based player, it does have to read the player once every 25 minutes. I don't even notice the skip, but some people find it annoying. However, the multiple playlist capabilities are a wonderful addition for runners as you can format specific for different workouts. If you have the money and don't mind the skipping every half hour (or don't run more than 25 minutes at a time), then, aside from having less than wonderful earbuds, this is the perfect player. But for the majority of runners, the Ipod Mini is probably not worth the extra money.
