Bennett's time has finally come. She attended the 2004 Olympic Summer Games as an alternate. She was second runner-up for 2000 Olympic team after finishing fourth at the U.S. Olympic Trials. Now as the top-ranked American female triathlete, she's ready to shine at the Olympic Games.
Hunter Kemper
Kemper has the most Olympic exposure of the American squad, as a member of the 2000 and 2004 Olympic teams. He's hoping his experience will pay off in Beijing.
Jarrod Shoemaker
Although he's the youngest member of the Olympic triathlon team, Shoemaker's rise to the top has been impressive. He qualified for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team by finishing as the top American at the 2007 ITU Beijing World Cup, beating former Olympians Hunter Kemper and Andy Potts to qualify for the first spot on the U.S Olympic Team.
