Question: What Should I Do After the "3 Weeks to a 30-minute Running Habit" course?
I completed the "3 Weeks to a 30-minute Running Habit" e-mail course and I want to continue running. What program can I do next?
Answer: Congratulations on completing the program! There are two programs on About Running to choose from for your next step. They both send weekly emails outlining the workouts for that week and providing links to information that may provide useful to new runners. These programs would also work for any beginner runner who can run for 30 minutes using a 5 minute run/1 minute walk ratio.

Run Your First 5K
Running a 5K (3.1 miles) is an excellent goal for new runners. This e-course picks up right where "3 Weeks to a 30-Minute Running Habit" leaves off. Even if you don't want to run a 5K, this program can help you run 30 minutes continuously.

An 8-Week Beginner's Training Schedule to Build Distance
This training schedule takes you from running 30 minutes at 5/1 ratios (run 5 minutes, walk 1 minute) to running 60 minutes at 5/1 ratios in 8 weeks.

Good luck with your new running habit!
