Chopsticks will, for most people, force you to slow down how fast you consume your food. By slowing down how fast you eat, you'll be able to taste your food more, enjoy it, and most likely feel more satisfied than you would have with the same amount of food eaten faster. Eating slower, also, gives your body time to send the message that you are full before you overeat.
