go online
- I don't live close to any running shops, so I order my running shoes and gear online, rather than driving long distances to shop. I also register online for races whenever possible.

Green run club
- I donate my running shoes to a running club that I'm a member of that collects $$ (thru membership fees) and shoes for third-world countries. Sometimes I run to commute and am trying to do that more often as I get more fit.

donate running gear
- I run almost every day, so I replace my shoes every 3-4 months. I always give my used running shoes to a local running shop that delivers them to those in need. I also donate any running clothes that no longer fit to local charities.
