The Bottom Line

This minidisc player is a great value. The use of discs allows you to burn different playlists for different workouts. The discs hold 5 hours of music so you should be set on most runs. You may want to consider new headphones though.

Guide Review - Psyc Net MD Walkman

For the price, the Sony Psyc Net MD Walkman (minidisc player) may be the best choice available for runners. The discs are affordable and re-recordable. There are no skipping problems, like with regular cds. It is durable, easy-to-use, and very versitle.

I would recommend buying new headphones, as I find the ones that accompany the Sony Psyc Net MD Walkman to be uncomfortable for running. I also recommend using the Simple Burner application instead of the SonicStage, as Simple Burner really is much easier to use. (Both applications come with the player.) It is still a pain to get music onto the discs even if you use Simple Burner.
